At Dogs at Camp, we are very proud of our Foster Camper program, which we have put into place at each of our three locations in order to assist the many dog rescue organizations throughout Ontario. Many of our staff members have dogs which were rescued from various shelters and rescue organizations. At Dogs at Camp, we are keenly aware of the tremendous overcrowding in shelters across Canada.  For that reason, we created our Foster Camper program, through which each camp helps to get dogs out of shelters.

These dogs then become Foster Campers and enjoy the camp experience at no cost, while a permanent home is sought.  We provide this service to many other rescue organizations where so much hard work is done every single day to help the many dogs  in need.
