About our Foster Camper ® program...
Dogs at Camp is proud to introduce this new program, which we have put into place at each of our three locations in order to assist the many dog rescue organizations throughout Ontario.

As we all know, virtually all animal shelters are consistently overcrowded. Thankfully, there are folks who work hard, each and every day, to help find homes for the thousands of dogs who need them.
Dogs at Camp was inspired by Abby, a dog rescued from the Fort Lauderdale Humane Society. Abby was sadly mistreated by previous owners, and in addition - suffered from epileptic seizures. Abby went on to become as happy as a ‘mutt’ can be, and inspired the founder of Dogs at Camp - Glen Kowarsky - to open the first camp location in Uxbridge in 2002.
Glen's beloved
Abby lived a life of luxury at her Uxbridge camp and home for nearly 8 years. Abby passed away in October of 2009. She was indeed a rescue success case, the inspiration of the Dogs at Camp dream, and is missed each and every day.
Dogs at Camp to the rescue(s)!
We at Dogs at Camp are working hard to establish relationships with those involved with dog rescue, as we have big plans to expand our rescue efforts.
