The Ottawa Dogs at Camp is set up on – get this: (are you sitting down?) 160 acres of land. Yes, you read that right. One-hundred-and-sixty acres! The beautiful 4000 square foot barn has been restored for our camp purposes, including a large indoor play area, grooming facilities, six ‘stalls’ for sleeping dogs in small groups. Dogs enjoy a two acrefenced outdoor play field. The property is situated on the bank of the Mississippi River…an ideal swimming spot for the dogs!The owner of the Ottawa Dogs at Camp – Cheryl Caswell founded It’s a Dog’s Life in 2001, which was one of the original, largest, and most successful indoor day care facilities for dogs in Ontario.
